How PDF Watermarks Work
A watermark is text (or image) drawn on top of each page's existing content with reduced opacity. When you view or print the PDF, the watermark appears as an overlay. Our tool uses pdf-lib to add a rotated, translucent text string diagonally across every page. You control the text, color, opacity, and rotation β but the watermark always appears on top of the original content without affecting legibility.
